ELECTROCARDIOGRAM

An Electrocardiogram or ECG is used to record the rhythm and electrical activity of your heart and can help you to diagnose whether or not you are experiencing heart problems or have heart disease. An Exercise ECG is a normal ECG carried out whilst you are on a running machine or exercise bike. Doctor will always use a treadmill to monitor your heart function during the exercise.

EEG EXAMINATION

An EEG is used to record the rhythm and electrical activity of your heart and can help you to diagnose whether or not you are experiencing heart problems or have heart disease. An Exercise ECG is a normal EEG carried out whilst you are on a running machine or exercise bike. Doctor will always use a treadmill to monitor your heart function during the exercise.

TREAD MILL

Your electrocardiogram (ECG) and blood pressure will be measured to observe the heart’s response to increased activity in a controlled environment. Ten small pads (electrodes) will be placed on the chest to monitor the heart (chest hair will be shaved if necessary). You will then walk on a moving belt at a brisk pace for about 3 to 12 minutes while being supervised by trained personnel.
